Pastor Scott Kelso Scott is a native of Dayton, OH. He married his high school sweetheart, Linda, while attending Ohio State University in 1969. Scott received the call to ministry his senior year at OSU, and upon graduation in 1970, he entered the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. In June 1973, he was appointed to Trinity United Methodist Church in Pickerington, Ohio.
Upon retirement in July 2011, Scott transitioned into full-time apostolic preaching and teaching ministry. He has a long history of ministering to pastors and their spouses. Scott ministers in the areas of teaching, preaching, healing and writing, and has a deep passion for evangelism and outreach. He has a heart for missions and has been on teams to Africa, the Philippines, Mexico, and Cuba. Scott is the steering committee chairman of C-CAM, Capital City Association of Ministers and Churches. This organization is comprised of over 250 pastors and leaders in the greater Columbus, Ohio area, whose purpose is to impact and win their city for Jesus Christ. He is a past president of Aldersgate Renewal Ministries in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, and currently serves on the advisory council. Scott also serves as president of the Charismatic Leaders Fellowship, a national group of top-tier leaders from all four streams of Christianity (Catholic, Protestant, non-denominational, and Pentecostal) in the USA. He has been elected to the Jurisdictional and General Conference of the United Methodist Church several times. He is the author of Ice on Fire, published by Thomas Nelson.
In 2015, Scott graduated from United Theological Seminary with his Doctor of Ministry. Scott now works as an adjunct facilitator with Online Education at Global Awakening. He and his wife, Linda, live in Pataskala, Ohio. They have three children and seven grandchildren.
